just got this axle and working on setting up EGT's with our new digitron with readout on it, and new a-arms and possibly an aluminum fuel tank. anyone else run a small aluminum tank that would mount in stock location? and if so, is it a pain in the azz to clean out, what i mean by that is do you clean out after every night since I will be running alcohol?

I added the drag bars also, I pulled engine last night and dan at A&S is porting them out and Im getting bigger carbs with fuel pump. I was running no port on a 421 cub to a full port job and a set of 39 mm with pump.

i clean mine out once or twice a year and sometimes it doesnt really seem to need it. i just empty it, take it off, pour a bunch of bee-bees in there and shake it around like crazy for a minute.. works awesome. i did it to one that hadnt been cleaned out for a few years and it got everybit of nastyness out.

Like your tail light lol. Had to do that to a buddy's drag bike, tail light didnt work so he got a pink flash light.

As far as cleaning the tank, x2 on the bb's and we put about a quart of alky in it with them. Works like a charm, gives the arms a good work out too.
