Yamahopper10 Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 Hey guys whats up, havent been on here in a while. Well due to some complications, im going to downgrade (if thats what you want to call it) and turn my drag bike into a duner. Its a stock lightened frame, +8 swingarm, stock axle, 4 mill bottom end with dunable override and direct drive lockup, ported cyls by GT performance out of kansas city. Anyways, im switching from alky to gas, selling the oof pipes and going to in frames. I want something that I can still cruise around on a little but be violent when I want it. Think a +6 swingarm will do the job? I want to be able to do a little trail riding/hillclimbing in the dunes which is why i plan on getting rid of the +8 swinger. ive tried uploading pics but it says my file is too large. Thanks. Quote
Jereme6655 Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 +4 is about the longest your going to want to trail ride with. Quote
shakar Posted March 24, 2012 Report Posted March 24, 2012 - 1 or -2 will def keep you awke in the trails. goodluck Quote
Yamahopper10 Posted March 25, 2012 Author Report Posted March 25, 2012 decided to go with a 6 over... might not turn as well, but I wont be in the woods with it so Ill be ok. Quote
Ieat4strokes Posted March 25, 2012 Report Posted March 25, 2012 I have a cascade 6 over arm. Basically same motor. 4 mill drag motor by FAST. I love my +6. We have some nasty tight trails here. And some mean hills and I have yet to not be able to whip mine around. You should enjoy it Quote
