xuberantz Posted March 20, 2012 Author Report Posted March 20, 2012 Trinity has been known to have some major issues in the past with their machining. (Even thought they have CNC's) Everyone knows about their domes. But some people have gotten head shells that on one side had the dome supports cut .080 deeper than the other side. I personally had a head shell that had the domes recessed into the head instead of sticking slightly out. So get out the measuring tools and give everything a good look over before you drop coin on any replacement parts. Just a suggestion........... Great suggestion I've been doing my research about this head and I don't like what I see... If the orings don't solve the problem then I will be picking up a chariot or noss head and be done with it... Quote
xuberantz Posted March 20, 2012 Author Report Posted March 20, 2012 Being that they are a site sponsor maybe they will chime in and say something about this......................... That'd be awesome ... I didn't think to even try calling till it was to late this evening.. Quote
Burt Reynolds Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 you need to use the trinity acorn nuts it centers the head. Quote

I'd say go straight to buying the new head and avoid rolling the dice, but sometimes the budget says "Band-aids and pray" LOL If you get a new head, you can use the industries standard dome design and O-rings. (Makes it a lot easier to get parts when you have an issue.) Being that they are a site sponsor maybe they will chime in and say something about this......................... Yeah........ Quote
