So to be safe seeing how the crank and rods look like they took a hit at problably at 8000 rpms from that piston squirt. just wondering what everybody runs and where they get it from i.e. sit sponsor or whatever also looking to do a stock build only running it on the trails. ticktock Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 Welding is extra, but worth it. Talk to a sponsor. They will set you up. Brandon is a good guy. I have felt with Wildcard and FAST. Both are straight shooters and you can't go wrong. Another option is the crank rebuild. Cheaper and just as good. Adam Quote
shakar Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 (edited) imo your cheapest option is buy a used off here/ebay for cheap 100$ then send it out to asite sponser for a 75$ tru and weld . stock cranks are actually really good strong cranks .if welded and maintained well. from what ive seen most of the time complete crank rebuilds cost about the same as new . if your going bigger stroke then def go hotrod or more $$$$$ twister goodluck Edited March 15, 2012 by shakar Quote
