Sheeny350 Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 well, I picked up my banshee and dumped about $900 worth of parts into it to get it looking and running perfect. cylinders had 115 left and 110 right lbs of compression and im at 2200ft so i figured that it was fine. the guy had the jetting a mess and had a 200 main in there with slides in backwards and choke tube disconnect so after putting in a 340 main and a 27.5 pilot 1 turn out she was running amazing for about a 15min ride ( plugs were nice and toasty running 32:1). the next day i went out and started it and it seemed to be smoking more than usual from both cylinders. after going about a mile it was running on one cylinder and after further inspection the right cylinder has 0 lbs of compression!. does anyone have any idea how this could have happened, or did i just get some extremely bad luck ? I am probably going to end up selling it but i might fix it first. I am trying to get an idea of what happened before I tear it apart only to find something that I just don't have the cash to fix. thanks for any help Quote
Larry's Shee Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 Do a leakdown test to see if you have an air leak or maybe blown head gasket. Then either pull pipe and peek into cylinder or pull the head. Quote
