Can exhaust wrap cause any decrease or increase in power on a banshee if the whole exhaust is wrapped ?

wrap can lead to rust and pipes cracking.

I wrap all my stinger pipes with that header wrap to help protect the filters and electrical lines.

Wrap can only lead to rust if the pipe is left untreated underneath.

 

Will it hurt performance to wrap.

All I asked was if wrapping would hurt or help my performance. It won't hurt it so that's all I needed to know. I don't need to hear all this shit about pipes rusting. The pipes on my stepdads Harley have been wrapped for 6 years. No rust.

So is your dad riding his exhaust wrapped Harley down muddy trails? There's also a difference in where you ride that'll play a role in all this. If it's a dune only bike then your fine. But if you ride trails and play in the mud it might not be the best thing. Bigred has a good idea, I wish I did that instead of melt my harness.

I'm never letting this thing touch mud sovi should be fine. That is a good idea for the harness.

I used it on my 400 to keep heat off the tank and motor. I didn't notice any power difference before or after.
