Raptor 700r Brake Setup

Now I know that the brakes from a yfz 450 will bolt right up to the banshee but I was wondering about the Raptor 700's brake system? When I brake on the 700 it stops on a dime and makes the Banshee brakes look like complete shit. When I compared my buddies '04 yfz 450 brakes to the 700 the 450 still doesn't have that "click" noise when pulliing on the lever and need a little stronger pull. I was thinking about upgrading to the 700 master cylinder and calipers.

The front master cylinder should work just fine. Not sure about the rear due to different style setups.

Hell yeah good to know, all I want is the front system, the back can stay the way it is since I don't use them that often unless I'm coming down a hill. The 421 is a handful when I'm trying to stop on the occasional trail.

Nice write up Nick, I'll have to give that a try if I'm not happy with the initial swap.... Last thing I need is running into a tree at 40mph or off the mini plateau.

The "click" is the brake switch.
