Hey guys, some buddies and I are heading down to little sahara in april for a couple days, Im currently running Procircuits and love the low end but i would like to find something with a little more uptop for the trip to the dunes. My buddy has a pair of FMF fattys on his shee and i can tell the diffrence in top end significantly. Wondering what everybodys opinions where on bang for the buck as far as top end pipes go? Id like to have a set of shearer or t5s or PT high revs if (i could find them) but for the $100-$150 diffrence are they really going to be that much better than if i went with a set of fattys on my shee? Ive got K&n pods now an hopefully adj timing plate by the time we go, stock bore, no porting or anything. Any input would be appreciated, thanks guys!

I think a t5 would be a good pipe for your bike. Cpi's and shearers are great pipes. I would hold of on those pipes till you get some more HP. Instead of going for those pipes dune port that puppy you will not be disappointed.

CPI or Shearers will improve it slightly with no porting. Send your cyls to Herr Juggs for his 10 day guarantee and get a few hundred in porting and it will improve a bunch with the new pipes. Easy 20hp gain with pipes and porting.

My banshees a 2000 sadly, id love a pair of high revs. And im hoping to do a dune port as soon as i can afford it and have the time to tear it down, im kinda leaning towards t5s. But when i do get the time to have it ported is 20 more hp with shearers or cpis realistic? Im not trying to disagree or anything that just seems like a shit ton for just pipes and porting, ive heard porting does alot but dang.

jeff at fast did an 4 mil agressive dune port for me, I had fmf fattys on it, my motor ran great. Jeff told me I needed better pipes to go with the portwork, shearers or simular pipes are what he recomended. I got R2s and can not beleive the dfference. the right pipe to go with your portwork is a huge gain. portwork and pipes equal 20+ hp easy

Keep the PC pipes for now and get a good port job. You will make much more usable power bottom to top with porting over the pipes. Plus porting is cheaper and you will walk anybody that has better pipes and no porting. Send them to me and I will have them on the way back in 10 days. Nobody will believe the power you will make with PC pipes.

i agree with kev... why buy t5s when hes just going to want shearers or cpis later... run the pc and send your cylinders off for a dune port. Then when you have some extra cash go with shearer or cpi whichever you want. i have t5s now and im wanting shearer or cpi.

All I ride is Little Sahara, OK and ran pro circuits on my dune ported 4mill and loved them, hard runner too. Stay with the pro circuits and look into port work.
