Surfrjag Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 welcome to the hq.. and the pleasure of owning a banshee. it could be a lot of different things so you might as well start going through that bike. check your flywheel for rust and pickup gap, and new plugs, check airfilter and clean. then try adjusting your idle and or air screw. you might go ahead and do a leakdown test to rule out an airleak. then make sure your fuel is good and flowing freely. let us know what you find. 98_shee Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 Does it break up on top end or fall on its face? I would try going up to a 300 or 310 main if that makes it worse try going smaller. Set your air screw at 1.5-2 turns out. To sync stock carbs looks for a small window in the side of them where the slides go in. With the engine off hold the throttle wide open and look through that window and you should see a cutout or a small hole in your slide line both of them up in that window and they should be sync'd.
