bansheeyfz450 Posted February 18, 2012 Report Posted February 18, 2012 I'm looking at changing the stock water impeller, ez drain, and timing plate. Pro Design or Chariot and WHY? I see a lot of people running Chariot but what about Pro Design? I see that Chariot isn't billet (impeller). Doing the research I see there real no price difference. Quote

sheerider11 Posted February 18, 2012 Report Posted February 18, 2012 I have the pro design. I just wish I had the mull gear tho like mentioned before. I'm sure there's no difference really. I would just rather the mull gear then the stock plastic one. Quote

Will it fit under the stock cover? Or do I need to pull off the clutch cover? Quote
bansheeyfz450 Posted February 18, 2012 Author Report Posted February 18, 2012 Mull engineering has a better impeller then Chariot?? I see chariot has to one at $55(standard) and the other at $105 (mega) For the money which one is the best? Quote
Strm Trpr Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 (edited) Mull Engineering does Engineering Design and Manufacturing for the Aerospace Industry. My money is on Mull's new Impeller set-up and their gear as well. I talked to Jerry from Chariot Racing and he said that particular EZ-Drain cover does make the stock outer WP Cover have a small gap. And yes, you have to remove the clutch cover to change the Impeller. Edited February 19, 2012 by Strm Trpr Quote
Chariot Performance Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 One thing I can promise is that our impeller will never fail. Our shafts will not wear at the seal. As far as engineering on the impeller goes you won't get cavitation nor will find a better design. Pro design, as much as I hate to say it, hit it on the head. At least that is what i believe. Quote
Rootracing Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 Buy chariot he has great product & stands behind them.... Quote
