421 Stroker Needs piston 1300$ N.E. Pa

I have an 01 421 stroker.Was built by another BHQ member.

 

It has a detonated piston but still ran {not seized}

I was told it has straight cut trans

It doesnt use the spacer plate,Domes were cut for clearance.

K-T Ported cylinders

At minimum needs piston and ring or possibly needs a rebuild.

 

I only have the domes for the coolhead you will need the actual head.

Crank is a Hot-Rods and again was told it was Trued-Welded

Takes the 795 series wiesco's

 

Does not include stator/mag or side covers

$1,300 ??? Sounds like a ripoff to me. I think you will be more in the area of $500-600 for the setup. Theres probably over that much to get it fixed and running.

well it not tottally screwed but if you are going to do it right the engine has to be pulled apart seals cranks inspected at a minimum inspect the bore ect and the 500 to 600 doller range is more in the range. I would not buy a blown motor for more than that cuz it will cost you that much more to have it torn apart to insure the motor is good to go if you just do the topend and you have a bad crank seal, bearing, you have just thrown away 300 bucks worth of pistons and bore. just my 2 sents

Motor looks torched $1300 is way to high. Motor needs to be completely inspected and rebuilt. This is what I consider a crack head deal, meaning the person who purchases must be on crack to spend $1300 on it.

Bahahaha hahaha haha... For that kind of money someone could EASILY turn their stocker into a trustworthy 4mil

Its obvious he doesnt know much about banshees since that is not a straight cut gear on the basket and he probably doesnt know the exact bore,stroke,etc of the rest of it.
