I have modded star & cut tranny but it still didnt help me shift from 1st to 2nd under high RPM's. Far as best tranny to get I would go with an over-ride tranny set-up to your liking. Im going to try new shift shaft & billet clutch basket, then I will let you know how it turns out. Good luck on getting that thing to shift I know the feeling. sleeper06 Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 When you star making power all the lil nonsense mods wont help at all, irun asphault mostly 1/4 tho.I would recommend a dunable 1-4 overide 5th 6th clutch for 1/4 .If your gonna run strictly 1/8 you can get away with a 1-5 overide hit me up if you have any questions Quote
