willardwright59 Posted February 7, 2012 Author Report Posted February 7, 2012 do you want just the lexan cover or the whole lockup cover? Either Quote
vulvafan537240 Posted February 7, 2012 Report Posted February 7, 2012 Either The lexan cover will do you no good without the lockup cover. Do you have a lockup cover? Quote
willardwright59 Posted February 7, 2012 Author Report Posted February 7, 2012 I dont have one. Why do i need one? Do you have one with a cover? Quote
vulvafan537240 Posted February 7, 2012 Report Posted February 7, 2012 Only lockup covers have lexan covers. The stock cover is solid behind the black plastic piece. Quote
willardwright59 Posted February 7, 2012 Author Report Posted February 7, 2012 True. But mine is cut out. They make that insert and o ring so you can adjust your clutch. Quote
vulvafan537240 Posted February 7, 2012 Report Posted February 7, 2012 So you do have a lockup cover with the cutout. That's what I was asking in my first post. Quote
willardwright59 Posted February 7, 2012 Author Report Posted February 7, 2012 So you do have a lockup cover with the cutout. That's what I was asking in my first post. No. Its a stock clutch cover, it has the inner center cut out so my dad could adjust the clutch. Thats why when you get a stock banshee the center piece removes to a solid back. You cut that out and use the stock plastic piece that says yamaha and the gasket to seal it. Quote
vulvafan537240 Posted February 7, 2012 Report Posted February 7, 2012 Never seen that done before Quote
willardwright59 Posted February 7, 2012 Author Report Posted February 7, 2012 Never seen that done before My dad did it so he didnt have to tear the whole cover off to tune the clutch. It dont leak or anything Quote
vulvafan537240 Posted February 7, 2012 Report Posted February 7, 2012 Do you have a pic of the oring and how it seals? I think this is a good idea if it doesn't leak. Quote
