i have an 87 stock banchee it has nothign done to it. had it since it was brand new. how can you tell if the cdi box is out? Heres the story... its always been well taken care of. it got parked for ttwo winters. an now wont start. it doesnt even have a spark. ive replaced the coil, ive rebuilt the carbs, ive went through it i just dont know how to tell if the cdi box is the start of my problem...... any suggestions to help me? to look for?

with a name like that you need more than help.

 

 

 

the only good way to find out its the cdi is to swap it out with a known good one.

First off, are you female? Second, You need to go through all the connection that involve the key, on/off switch, pretty much all connections. Its not out of the question that something is just corroded from sitting for so long.
