Larry's Shee
Won't run for shit without choke crossover tube. 3" (80-85mm) hose from one carb to other oppisite of choke knob. http://www.blasterforum.com/do-yourself-20/easy-almost-free-way-stop-leaky-carbs-33335/ don't laugh, it works
bansheesandrider
If it is leaking from the overflow it means the needle valve and seat are not closing off the fuel from the tank. Your jet needle has no affect on the flow of fuel from the tank. 2 different things. You need to replace the needle valve and seat, yes they are expensive. Also, make sure the O ring on the outside of the seat is in good shape- soft and no tears or abrasions. And make sure you set your float height properly. sprinklerman
Check your float height while you have it apart too.
knelson
tooth paste on a q-tip works pretty good for cleaning the seats.
Teo Blaikie
that happen'd to me a little while ago. just bend that metal tab on your float assembly so that the float sits lower in the bowl. (float height)
