So i bought a new set of trail techs only turned them on a few times. Been on my bike for 2 tanks. Tried turning them on today, only 1 lite up. This is what i found from the dead one a6cd885e-9972-ea73.jpg

Wish I had money, then I would buy some new ones. but $50 a piece plus $20 a piece for outerwear plus shipping/handling is almost $200

 

 

Ive had bad luck with trail techs also, they broke when i first got them. I was able to fix it.

But there arent even a year old and they are all peeling and look like shit- Guess ill be painting them.

 

who did you buy them??

bought them from rockymoutian sucks the whole thing glass and all is the bulb... so there is no way to fix it... if i had a little wire to work with i could solder it together.. o well ill call em up and see if they will replace it.. if not ill have to buy a replacement..

does the new bulb come with wiring and all? this is the first time ive opened them up... the connector ripped out the back to the bulb... i dont know if it vibrated lose or what. :confused:

Put some rubber between the light and the frame mount, isolate the light from the vibration of the bike. Might help them last longer. The factory lights had huge rubber isolators in them.
