It is not leaking out of the tube, however it is leaking between the nipple and the engine case. Is there a bad o ring? Im new to banshee's and have never taken one out. J.J. Posted December 28, 2011 Report Share Posted December 28, 2011 yep, unfortunately it installs from inside the cover. If you are careful you might be able to remove the cover without damaging the gasket. I've used the same gasket many times over, just be sure to grease up the gasket prior to installing. escobar Posted January 1, 2012 Report Share Posted January 1, 2012 you can re use the gasket most of the time, put some rtv on it as well and it will be fine. BigRed350x Posted January 1, 2012 Report Share Posted January 1, 2012 You don't need that vent at all. Almost all aftermarket clutch covers have it removed. I solder it shut on all the covers I have.
