Banshee on Nitrous

I plan on running nitrous next summer for the sand drags. I am looking for information about running on nitrous such as what carbs are best, which tires, what battery, timing, spark plugs (i was told to go 2 colder than stock), and best way to mount the nitrous kit. This will be on a stock banshee. Any information helps.

call boss noss... Sheerider 1026 ran a boss noss kit for a while and liked it... it just started backing out his plugs.

a lot of ppl have ran nitrous with great success. don't let the guys that just throw a kit on steer you away if that is really what you wanna do. colder plugs, less timing, correct afr's etc all determine the life of a engine setup on nitrous.

OMFG... you people who have never ran nitrous should NOT give advise about running nitrous..... PERIOD.... Guy your asking questions that are really general and probably wont end up with 100% correct advise. Best bet, do some research on your own, complle your own thoughts then ask direct questions from there.

hope that wasn't directed towards me because i have ran enough nitrous to numb a small state for dental work. spray more in one pass than than a banshee will use in it's lifetime.

Buy a wet system because less jetting problems at least that has been my experience. timing shuold be 3 degrees advanced, Iran b9es plugs and I ran 160 lbs of compress. You should have your crank welded and trued if not already. Hope this will a good starting point for you.

NOS on a car and NOS on a 2 smoke are a lil different.. IF i was going to run a set up i know exactilly how i'd do it. wet system. shoot it through the transfers bla bla bla..

 

it was a ton of fun on a rappy 700 those lil "kits" blow through the carb are a fuggin joke.
