i just picked up a 4mil hot rods, stock cyl punched out, noss machine head,19mm doms,vf3,30mm oko carbs,with 160 psi is this good and is that a good set up

nice run 50/50 race gas premium mix,I would check condition of top end,with 19cc domes and a 4mil comp should be higher or someone lied and its a healthy ported stock stroke bike

I had a similar motor and was 165 at sea level off a fresh rebuild. It did have some pretty aggressive port work. Ride it until it wont run anymore then worry.

i have bean running strate race gas in it. the timming is addvanced alot somewhere around 10.

thats what i thought i am new to banshees this is my first one.but i have rode dirt bikes all my life and i work on outbords for a liveing,so im not dumb lol.and it seems it is runing fine the plugs are nice rootbeer brown

Yeah, I figured out as of a couple weeks ago what happens when some retard that you buy your bike from sets the timing at +11 degrees.

i know if the timming is to high in an outbord you get a fat hole in the piston./will i have to change my jetting if i change my timeing

Typically no a timing change wont require rejetting. Its always a good idea to check the plugs after any change though. Just for reference on compression my 4 mil dune ported bike with 19 cc domes kicked 190 psi at sea level on a tested accurate snap on gauge. 160 does seem low but it all depends on porting and squish size

i am at 1900 above sea level her but i do most of my ridding at the beach.so do you thank i should go though the motor
