i was in the process of puttin my motor back in my banshee and saw two black hoses one coming from behind the motor mount and the other coming from the top of the transmission and was curious as to whatg they were thanks for any help

oh boy. yes the tranny pressure is relieved through those two hoses. but everyone is giving you different locations. This is where they are SUPPOSED TO BE ROUTED. One leaves the back of the motor by the motor mount.....its a bitch to get to. The other exits out the top of the clutch cover...... they JOIN UP using a T-fitting ABOVE THE motor towards the front of the bike.......then from there a single line (also attached to the T-fitting) runs them up near the handle bars. This is where they have them routed stock.

THis is correct, but to clarify, the T fitting is on top of the motor but under the carbs.
