  1. I’m gonna tear the carbs down again and soak in a chem dip and will check the reeds while I’m there. Anything special I need to look for while checking the reeds.
  2. Just tried the 32.5 and 35 pilot jets with the same outcome boggs off idle unless I’m about 1/4 -1/2 turn out on the air screw. I went back and compression tested both cylinders with about 115 in both cylinders and did a leakdown test and it held 6psi well over 6 min.
  3. It runs great once you get off the idle circuit and up on the needle and the main. that leads me to think the electrical is fine. Still bugs me that it's wanting a bigger pilot.
  4. Just called and ordered 32.5 and 35 pilots. All symptoms it's having it's acting like it's wanting more fuel down low but from what I read 27.5 should be good for my setup. But maybe there's more done to the motor than I know hopefully the bigger pilots will tell me something.
  5. I just reinstalled the 30 pilots and was able to get the off idle bog gone at about a half turn out on the air screw. Is it common to need anything bigger that a 30 pilot.
  6. I was told it was completely stock. I had to replace a base gasket and noticed it looked as if it may have had some kind of porting work done. And when the choke is pulled it does rev better. But when I install 30 pilots it acts the same way. It's almost as if it needs a bigger pilot but from what I've got it should t need anymore.
  7. I'm running 27.5 pilots now and at 2 turns out it has a bogg off idle and as I screw the needle in to richen mixture the bog gets better. But I'm all the way in on my air screw. Choke tube is hooked up on the nipples that's basically in line with the choke plunger.
  8. Temp varies I'm in Alabama so it'll be 30s one day and 60 the next. It's. It's starving for fuel at idle and I can't figure why.
  9. No change still best when needle is almost closed.
  10. ok both carbs are clear. Will update shortly.
  11. What other holes should I run wire through other than the actual pilot hole itself.
  12. Will do thanks again.
  13. That could be it. It sounds like it's barely getting fuel on the idle circuit and when I screw the screw in it cuts most of the air flow off causing it to run on what Lil bit I am getting then when I get on the throttle it gets off the idle circuit on the needle and runs good. So maybe that'll get me going tomorrow.
  14. the 27.5 jets are. Brand new but I haven't ran anything through the actual circuit itself.
  15. Yes I put brand new plugs in this morning before starting to mess with it. I'll pull the carbs tomorrow and clean them good and report back. I appreciate all the help it's got me stumped.
  16. With my compressor.
  17. I've tried 25 27.5 and 30 pilots with all the same result needs choke to crank even when warm. And it bogs no matter what needle I have in except with the needle almost seated.
  18. I've blown all that out several times. Could a electrical issue be causing this.
  19. Acting as if it's starving for fuel.
  20. I've gone back and tried all 3 pilots all with the same result bog off idle which gets better when I screw the air needle almost all the way in.
  21. So does screwing the air screw in lean or richen the mixture. It comes off idle best when the needle is almost closed.
  22. I adjusted my float height to 21mm. Could float height cause it to act up. My clip is on the middle setting of the stock needle also.
  23. It seems that adjusting the air screw doesn't change the idle any to be able to tell what I'm doing.
  24. 27.5 seemed to act the exact same should I go back to the stock 25 pilot
