So I'v just recently done quite a few mods to my stock banshee and i feel like it's running a bit to hot, i Just would like to know what's the best way to go about this to get her running a bit cooler?

No I'm I'n the process of getting a temo guage, ever since i have put those mods on the 1st run i did the black paint on the top end of the motor started to discolor that's why i am thinking it's running hot because that never happend before?

did you do a leak down test? plug chop?

if your still running a stock impelor i would strongly suggest getting a billet one from chariot, and silicone lines help alot too.

you have to also remember that if you get a bigger rad that the water flow will decrease but the coolant wont get as hot as quickly. so if your stock rad is not all bent to hell and its working right, its not a problem

I can tell you what not to do....Engine Ice. It is over priced bullshit and doesn't lower the temps it claims to! Ahh the power of marketing. :flush:

Plug chop as I'n checking the spark plugs? After i jetted I't i took I't for a quick squirt and the plugs were a light goldy colour, then went for a 30 minute ride which i was supposed to check the plugs but haven't had time as of my misses banshee has broke and i have been trying to work that out since last weekend.

coup hit on the head. ride faster.

i have. stock rad, stock impeller, 50/50 mix of cheappo coolant, gas and i ride the bike fast NEVER overheated..

DONT run straight water. DONT use tap water. mix 50/50 coolant at least with distilled water. if you want to impress your friends buy food coloring and change the color of the coolant ( i've heard blue is neato)
