How precise should i be with the diy timing plate mod

Going to run pump gas. It's a 4 mil stroker. Going to be 20 or 21 CC domes. I run from sea level to 1500 feet. I need to know how precise I need to be with the timing plate mod.

It needs to be pretty damn precise. You don't want to go too much with it. Why not just buy a used stator plate from someone on the site? Brand new they are only $30 or so. Try NYUK, he probably has a couple laying around.

Ill probably go less on cutting it then. Ill cut it 3mm instead of 3.5mm.
