The clutch was just working fine the other day, then after i rode it the next day i noticed that the clutch cable would not gain the needed tension by using the adjustment screw on the clutch perch. Turned all the way out, the cables casing sill doesn't seat securely in the adjustment screw on the perch. I thought maybe the cable stretched, so i got a new one of those.. thats not it. Did the clutch go? Did something in the clutch linkage slip in the motor? What happened??? Please help me.

check the pointer on the engine where the clutch cable ataches to the actuater...the pointer on the actuator should be pointing at the mark on the case of the engine if it is not then on the pressure plate there is a bolt and shaft in the center losen the nut and while holing it with a wreanch adjust the shft with a screwdriver till the actuator lines up and your clutch will be correctly adjusted hope this helps
