Id say back the timing down and consider different domes. From your first post you said you are almost flat broke, so I would consider getting domes for pump gas premium. I mean you have a 421 ported Banshee, why not just set it up with +4 timing and domes for pump premium gas? It going to be super fast, dependable, and a lot cheaper to run. If you don't have a lot of funds, your Banshee is 90 percent of what you need to make it fast AND affordable. I mean pushing the bike the the absolute maximum with race gas can get expensive. volcrano Posted October 21, 2011 Report Posted October 21, 2011 i think u have an air leak in that cyl.the other side looks good,if timing and too low of octane were the issue im sure the other side would have grenaded also.i do agree +7 timing is a lil much tho.id run 4 and do a leakdown when u get ur piston.hopefully u didnt scar ur jug and the bore is good.id make sure before u order pistons.
