So it is time for me to replace my sprockets and I need to figure out how many teeth would best suit my shee. It iis dune ported with Noss heads, +4 timing, Toomey pipes, and filter pods. I only ride sand but pretty much stick to the trails the entire time. Most of the people I ride with are on 4-stroke bikes and it seems my second gear is way too fast to ride with them and first is just not quite enough. Is there a sprocket set up that would make my bike better? Appreciate any advice?

Depends on a lot of factors, wheel spin, tire size, even rider weight and suspension mods. You just gotta play around with different gearing and see what you like. With shorter gearing your power band with my more accessible in different gears but you will lose top end. Anything less then stock gearing IMO pretty much makes first gear useless... I run 13/41 on my shee with similar mods only mines a stroker and I haev to shift A LOT. Thats with a BROAD powerband and awesome low/mid range. You can gear higher and use first or gear lower and pretty much not use it...

Thanks for the reply. I am thinking maybe I should stay with stock gearing and consider trading my toomeys for a 2 into 1 exhaust set up.
