  1. cool thanks. It is pretty far in. Definately looks like I could fit two in there. I was just not sure if I needed two or not. Thanks for the help.
  2. I bought my banshee with an aftermarket carrier already on it. My bearings were shot so I put new bearings on it. The problem is that the new bearings are recessed in the carrier and do not sit flush. I do not have the old bearing to measure to order new ones. Should it have two stock bearings side by side or one wide bearing? I am still learning a lot about these bikes so sorry if this is a dumb question.
  3. Thanks for the reply. I am thinking maybe I should stay with stock gearing and consider trading my toomeys for a 2 into 1 exhaust set up.
  4. So it is time for me to replace my sprockets and I need to figure out how many teeth would best suit my shee. It iis dune ported with Noss heads, +4 timing, Toomey pipes, and filter pods. I only ride sand but pretty much stick to the trails the entire time. Most of the people I ride with are on 4-stroke bikes and it seems my second gear is way too fast to ride with them and first is just not quite enough. Is there a sprocket set up that would make my bike better? Appreciate any advice?
  5. thanks, what is considered a good measurement? I have a cool head with 20 domes and a fresh rebuild. Not sure what I need to do if its not good.
  6. Does anyone know how to do a squish band test? I just recently had a port job and rebuild done and heard that you should do a squish test as well as some others. I heard you can do it by just taking one plug out and inserting a piece of solder. Does anyone have any pics or know how to read this test once you finish? Any info at all would be appreciated.
  7. yeah the rear hole where the frame goes through to both sides. The threaded piece on the inside of the frame broke off in the frame. I have read on here about people taking one long piece of threaded bar and running it all the way through and then boring out their pegs and using a nut and lockwasher on the rear mount. I will try and get some pics soon. Not very good with computers but will attempt it. Do you know what I am talking about doing? I have a drill press so I can get the hole on the peg mount bored out straight. If it isnt too much trouble I would like to see yours.
  8. also one of the nuts welded inside the frame broke off inside the frame. Do you think I could use a piece of all-thread and still use these nerfs? I think I will need to drill the hole in the new peg mounts bigger. would it be the hole on the piece of the peg mount that goes inside the nerf bar or the outside hole that i would need to make bigger? I have the peg mount here but dont have the bike to look at. Thanks again for the help.
  9. thanks. that is what I couldnt figure out. I had them on but thought that something was missing because they just rattle around and didnt seem solid at all. Drilling the hole and using a bolt sounds like it would work perfect. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't leaving soemthing out. I have the silver ones without the heel guards, love the way they look and cant wait to try them out. Thanks a lot for the help and the quick reply.
  10. hey guys I bought some ac blackline nerf bars and they didnt come with instructions. I can not for the life of me figure out how these are supposed to bolt on and not rattle around when they are on. Can somebody who has these please help me with some pictures or advice on how to put mount these? I am new to the HQ but am very impressed so far with all the knowledge on here.
  11. i am interested in it. do you have any pictures? how much do you want for them?
