Jgspahn Posted September 23, 2011 Report Posted September 23, 2011 In a straight line, who wins? Quote
Jgspahn Posted September 23, 2011 Author Report Posted September 23, 2011 Why do you say obviously? Whats so obvious about it? Quote
gotta_goatsfast Posted September 23, 2011 Report Posted September 23, 2011 Most likely the 450 if both machines are stock. 450s are easier to ride meaning the rider has less chance to make a mistake. They get better traction because of the smoothness the power comes on. Quote
vifferman Posted September 23, 2011 Report Posted September 23, 2011 Why do you say obviously? Whats so obvious about it? Stock vs stock the 450 wins because it's a newer bike with better technology, a bigger motor and better suspension. Once you start talking about mods it's a whole new ball game. Quote
jonpeter0420 Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 A stock 450 makes more power than a stock banshee. There for the 450 will win Quote
dirtydownunder Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 stock for stock the 450 is a better bike all round, faster, lighter and better handling. banshee is an 1987 design. Quote
06specialedition Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 stock vs stock, thats a given. But mod for mod, the banshee would eat the 450 alive IMO. Quote
bansheechas Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 This kid I know just got a 450 that he said was fully built, it looked confusing and not fully built but it has bolt ons. I've been trying to get him to run me for about a month now and he won't. When I do I'll get video, my bike is stock crank but fully ported and what not so we will see what happens Quote
camatv Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 yea its fully gone trough bored to the max super type 110 worked over bad ass built by notgonnabeatmemuthfuka powersports. 450's are good for one thing wait till the motor explodes then take it out and slap in a banshee. i was running with piped YFZ's down here locally on a bone stock banshee i'd launch it in 3rd in a sand/dirt mix.
