shawnsadler Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 they are required for us when we race.. so we drill a hole in the top of a water bottle run the overflow tube into it and zip tie it to the frame.. some guys get creative with Monster Energy bottles and stuff.. Quote

A lot of people dont run them, but I do like to run them because they are a recovery tank. Quote

SP if your radiator cap is functioning properly then it will draw the coolant back into the engine when it cools off. this technology has been used for at least the last 30-40 years on many types of vehicles.
