Strm Trpr Posted August 21, 2011 Report Posted August 21, 2011 (edited) If you have stock carbs, then you're jetted way too rich. Start with 280's and go from there. What's your elevation? Edited August 21, 2011 by Strm Trpr Quote
RadarRacing Posted August 21, 2011 Report Posted August 21, 2011 LOL. If its a dogg in 6th and boggs then jet down. Always looks at the plugs or do a plug chop. I'd look at the plugs and make sure its plenty rich and then jump down to 300 or 320 and try it. Make sure you are fat enough on your needle too since the main changes fuel on the needle too. Quote
camatv Posted August 24, 2011 Report Posted August 24, 2011 try a 330.. the shear is gonna want a lot of fuel and being that your cylinders are stock the port timings for the shears are all jacked up. Quote
