look at these plugs chops

i was thinking of trying a 300 just to c what color i would get .... and on the top end i feel like i could build a lil more rpms and im rilly surprised its taking a main this big cause it only has sst fmf pipes and a k&n filter and they recommend a 260

The 290 looks like it has more ride time on it. I'd do a 300 with more runs on it. Those plugs look a little too new.

i agree.u can do more than one.just dont ride all day.they say about 10 mins of riding will color a plug.i would think 5 mins and less would be ok to color the smoke ring but im no pro..should be a more defined ring.but,by the color,it looks like 300 would be good.

yup that plug chop will be good for that day at that particular time..

 

if you run long ass dirt roads or have a tendency to ride in the overrev and never shift go a lil richer.. if you want max hp and can tell if its geting a lil hot internally go to the 290 or 280 if it will do it

 

the recomneded jet is probably with the stock air filter and full box with lid and /or snorkel
