REED SPACERS..............DO THEY WORK?

Do reed spacers do anything? And what about a different thickness plate. I've seen them from a 1/4 up to a 1/2. Just want to know if this mod will do anything for me. Thanks, Mike in Big Lake,MN.

The only purpose for them is to space larger carbs from hitting the clutch arm. As for power gains, there is none IMO.

I had 3/4inch spacers for my carbs and they i took them and bent the arm instead and i had to gain about 3-4hp must in the buttom end but didn't lose any top in my eyes they are junk.
