Crossover tube delete kit?

havent owned this banshee long. bought it from someone who did not know much about it, or what the previous owner had done to it. I am having trouble with LOW END power. The 97 banshee is fairliy doggy down low. I have been doing my research and I think that this missing crossover tube may be part of the problem. Any ideas about why you would want to delete the crossover tube? it Looks like this was done on purpose.

I recently removed a boost bottle because of boot cracking and just plugged the holes, no tube. I have no problems with low end power, Banshees are known not to have any If you want low end get a 4 poke. List up all the mods, settings/jetting in carb. you might simply need to tune it better.

mods include Fmf gold series fatty's, K&N , tors delete, Ive been told its jetted but have not torn into the carbs yet. I have pulled the plugs and the bike is running a little rich....makes me think the carbs are jetted to big. Also one side of the throttle cable is broken down near the carb where you can make adjustments to the tension. This could also be adding to the problem because that carb is thrown out of sync just a little.

Mine had no bottom end either. Sync your carbs and check you mixture screw. After my carbs got synced and played with the mixture screw it is alot better. Just rode up and down the drive way idle to half throttle 1/8th turn at a time till they felt right
