DallasGDub Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 I used masking tape to mark where I wanted to cut so you know it is strait. Quote
springer Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 i taped off the lines i wanted to cut and then just used a box knife/razor blade. it is a little slower than power tools, but it wasnt messy and i could cut it exactly where i wanted. only takes a few passes, doesnt take that long. Quote
vifferman Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 Anyone ever used a soldering iron with a knife tip? Quote
bigblockbanshee Posted August 6, 2011 Report Posted August 6, 2011 A hot razor blade does wonders as well. Quote

rideSAND Posted August 8, 2011 Report Posted August 8, 2011 i marked it with tape and used a dremmel multi tool, the first time i used a hack saw blade. then i sanded down the edges, then took a propane torch and went over the sanded edge to make it look factory. Quote
