Refinishing Plastic

I have black plastic which i love, but also picks up scratches by just looking at it. I kinda like the dull black primer look also. Has anyone tried scuffing the plastic up to get an even dull color?

WE40. It puts the oils back in the plastic. I live in eastern Montana and buy it by the gallon. Coat it let stand overhight and wipe the excess off. This also help with the mud sticking to the plastic. On a warm sunny day set it in the sun. Works faster when plastic is warm. Keep it from soaking stickers. Cheap ones come unglues. Have had any probs with graphics coming loose or peeling

WD40 im assuming? Thats a new one, but hey if it works, thats all that matters.

mop and glow floor wax give plastics that new shine, put 3 to 4 wet coats on with a soft rag, also for white stress marks use a heat gun on them, brings the color right back

with a lil prep krylon fusion works good for a rider in the sticks its the best way to go you wont be pissed from scratching a 20 dolla paint job..
