papa-smurf Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 Hey guys, I cleaned up my wiring harness and I am curious as to where I can find a push button kill switch rather than the pull type. I want to remove the key also, if I under stand correctly I can cut the switch right before the connector and connect the black wires together then connect the brown/ red together? Or can I just cross the black&red wire with the black Wire before the connector? Thanks Quote

Looking at the schematic, it should work. I didnt test for spark yet cuz I'm still waiting for some parts to arrive. It should work. Quote
Larry's Shee Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 Just saw a sweet one, replaces back half of clutch lever clamp. Look on E-gay Quote
Jereme6655 Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 90% sure its just the black and black/red wire that you need to connect. I wonder if its possible to run a dirtbike push button kill switch on a banshee. instead of removing the key....you can also get a kit ( i believe from JDs customs....one of our site sponsors) that relocates your key to the cross-brace that's under your seat. So this way you still have the ability to use a key to keep the kids who may want to joy ride your bike when you stop at a local watering hole....while still continuing to keep the clean look of a cleaned up bike.
