thebear_9 Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 Need some help please. On my rear wheel the thread on two of the lug studs are real messed up and stripped and I cant get them out to put the new ones in. Anyone have any idea how to get them out. I tried hitting them out with a hammer but I didn't want to hit it too hard and bend the actual wheel collar. Any other ideas??? Quote
NYUK Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 HIT EM LIKE A MAN! they usually pop out. another way is put a big socket over the back of the stud and squeeze it out in a vice. Quote

fastquad02blaster Posted July 3, 2011 Report Posted July 3, 2011 Yeah, you don't want to bend the wheel flange. Try the vice trick like stated above. It should squeeze it right out. Quote
