barahonapr Posted June 18, 2011 Report Posted June 18, 2011 Took apart my carbs to clean them out a couple weeks ago and just noticed both carbs were leaking from the bottom tubes with the long hoses..need some help stopping the leak.. Quote
camatv Posted June 19, 2011 Report Posted June 19, 2011 welp try fixing the leak? the floats are to high or you got crap in the needle and seat if your not sure what that is there is a HUGE sticky up there that explains what it all is and the inner workings of a carb Quote
barahonapr Posted June 27, 2011 Author Report Posted June 27, 2011 Ok wtf so I cleaned the carbs we'll and the floats are set to 21mm yet they are still leaking from those tubes..I don't know what else to try..my bike is completely stock btw. Quote

Larry's Shee Posted June 28, 2011 Report Posted June 28, 2011 Well bowl drains is a different thing, I think the "needle" gets jacked. I tried tightening them , no luck. The Warrior I whittled a twig and jambed it into the hose . I think I'm going pull the drain out and try some sealant, maybe good old permatex #2 , or holimar. Quote
