Root_Doc Posted June 8, 2011 Report Posted June 8, 2011 OK Guys, I have been a toomey rider all my life. I love the sound. Never heard the DMC 916s except for on the internet, which is no a great example, but they sound very good on the net. What are some opinions of DMCs 916 vs. T6 thanks Quote
Infamous039 Posted June 8, 2011 Report Posted June 8, 2011 DMC 916's sound great, kinda like an indy car. If you have T6 pipes and dont plan on doing any porting then its not worth the switch. If you plan on porting your cylinders then I say go for it. Quote

SuprSlow50 Posted June 9, 2011 Report Posted June 9, 2011 I had them on my 421 Cub when I bought it, and they sounded great....prollly one of the best sounding pipes IMHO, but they didn't match the powerband of the Cub so I got a set of CPI's...I too was a Toomey fan and actually have the T6's on my other shee, but I would rather have the DMC's, they just sound better and look better especially when you have the sparkies in the T6's. I would say get a set and you'll be happy Quote
