barahonapr Posted May 31, 2011 Report Posted May 31, 2011 Well just bought a 2005 stock Banshee and was wondering if I should just buy a new k&n filter for the stock filter or do the dual k&n filters and take out the whole box..let me know what u guys think. Quote
Infamous039 Posted May 31, 2011 Report Posted May 31, 2011 Dual KN filters and Outerwears. Get rid of the airbox Quote
barahonapr Posted May 31, 2011 Author Report Posted May 31, 2011 Ok sounds good man. Do those directly go into your carbs? And I also read about the pro flo kit with the k&n filter. How about that setup? Quote
Zwiser Posted May 31, 2011 Report Posted May 31, 2011 i have the pro flow kit , i havent really rode it yet but i wouldnt run pods just for the fact that i ride where its wet and muddy. if you ride in the dunes or somewhere you dont have alot of water then youd benifiet from pods because of the increased airflow Quote
barahonapr Posted May 31, 2011 Author Report Posted May 31, 2011 Yea that brings a good point considering that I do ride trails since im in georgia..would love dunes but nothing around here..Haha Quote
muggzy Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 Yea that brings a good point considering that I do ride trails since im in georgia..would love dunes but nothing around here..Haha Keep the airbox and add the proflow with the stock style k&N. Take off the snorkle but keep your top otherwise you're gonna hate it when you get it wet Quote
barahonapr Posted June 1, 2011 Author Report Posted June 1, 2011 Alright sounds good man. Where can I get that pro. Flo kit? Quote
BLK'N'YELLOW Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 dump the box, i would run sum outerwears on whatever u get, k&n will flow the most, just oil them right , extra sticky paper and foam oil is the best, pj1 i think Quote
muggzy Posted June 2, 2011 Report Posted June 2, 2011 (edited) Alright sounds good man. Where can I get that pro. Flo kit? Try Powersport super store (512) 535-5010 (Mon-Fri 10 AM to 6 PM Central time) their prices seem really good. And I just saw that trinity it now a site sponsor so you might want to try them first: 1877FASTOYS or trinityracing.com btw, think twice before "dumping the box" If you ever have to cross water more than a foot deep, you'll be screwed. barahonapr Posted June 2, 2011 Author Report Posted June 2, 2011 Yea man I will most definately keep the box on and go with a kit that goes on it. Im around water so it would definitely benefit from it. As for trinity racing they got some great stuff! Quote
