Jmann Posted May 26, 2011 Report Posted May 26, 2011 Hey guys im new to the site but not new to the Banshee world. I got a little problem that has me scratching my head. I just recently removed my tors and added K&N pod filters with outerwears. Rejetted and cleaned carbs and istalled the new idle screws. I shaved down the hole to make the slot shorter for the idle screw to go in. The idle is really low with the screws all the way in. My carbs are synced and everything is in place. SAVAGE420 Posted May 26, 2011 Report Posted May 26, 2011 How far did you shave them down? You can adjust the adjusters on the carb caps and up at the throttle housing on your bars as well. Try the carb caps first. Then fine tune them with the idle screws. Go try and check back. Quote
Jmann Posted May 26, 2011 Author Report Posted May 26, 2011 Ok i got the idle im looking for and thats half my problem now. It seems to rev and run fine throughout the band but just checking on things when i pul the choke while its running it immediately turns off. that means im extremely rich if im not mistaken right? Larry's Shee Posted May 28, 2011 Report Posted May 28, 2011 I wouldn't say extremly rich. Do you like how it runs? Like how plugs look? If not try one size smaller jets. Quote
SheezFast02 Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 If your bike is warmed up and it dies when you pull the chokes out, everything should be fine. When you pull the choke out, it's dumping extra fuel in, which bogs it down and kills the engine. I don't see a problem. Quote
