Flyinrazrback Posted May 22, 2011 Report Posted May 22, 2011 Hello all, new to the forum here and new two owning a banshee. I bought a 05' that was frame off rebuiild with the following mods. Is there anything else I should upgrade to? I think the previous owner said it was around 165psi on the compression and dyno'd at 76hp. Looking at possibly working on the suspension as it is currently stock. I thought of getting the Toomey Husk Kit 3.0 as this thing is crazy loud and noise is a bit of concern where I ride. The suspension will really wake up your bike.....you'll be less exhausted after a long ride and the long ride will become much shorter as you can carry alot more speed through the rough sections while still enjoying it. with 165 compression your pushing the limits of fuel.....i would think that at that compression your actually running really close to having to run straight race fuel......if you were to lower your compression (by switching out domes in your cool head) you could get it down low enough to run either a mix or just straight pump gas... steady Posted May 23, 2011 Report Posted May 23, 2011 this list looks familiar, is this bike blue and white? i seen it for trade for a yfz in ft smith. Quote
Flyinrazrback Posted May 23, 2011 Author Report Posted May 23, 2011 I don't mind running race fuel in it, been running 100 in it as I can get it pretty cheap. What are some good aftermarket shocks that wont break the bank? Yes I did have it for trade but think I will just keep it for now. All of the trade offers I had were machines that were not to the level of mine. Quote
steady Posted May 23, 2011 Report Posted May 23, 2011 well if you want to sell it, let me know. I am starting to look for one. Quote
