stumac Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 (edited) Hi I have just bought a 96 banshee and am just going through the bike as it is a bit rough. I bought a new clutch cable and went to fit it today and discovered that the perch fitted was not correct and that a spacer had been fitted so the cable slack could be taken up enough! I want to get another clutch perch and lever that will work with the standard set up. The main problem I have is I live in the UK and there is not many places to get banshee parts. Is there another Yamaha perch from a motocross bike that fits and works ok as I can get YZ bits no problem. Thanks for your help. Edited May 11, 2011 by stumac Quote

J-Madd Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 The cable is too long, there's nothing wrong with the perch. Is it a Motion Pro cable? They are notorious for that. Stick with oem Yamaha cable if you can. Quote
