Looking to build a great trail/woods banshee, now looking to get more power for my type of riding, which would be better? Just get a good porting job, or go to a 4 mil stroke? ride alot of dirt roads and trails so it's a mix of fast and slow riding..... T5 pipes, air box with lid removed, vforce reeds, are the current mods... And waiting for my +2+1 a-arms and Elke stage 3 shocks to come in...

I would get the 4mil crank, then get your cylinders ported for the 4mil when you can afford it. When you're ready, give kevin at Herr Jugs Racing a call and he can hook you up with both the crank and the porting on your cylinders. Great guy to deal with and awesome turnaround time. I would call him and see what kinda deal he can make for you if you get both at the same time... Since you have to split the cases to put the 4mil crank in, I would send your cases off as well and get your cases port-matched to the cylinders. It would save you a lot of time and effort to just save up and get both done at the same time & you will see better performance gains with the cases port-matched to the cylinders. I would give kevin a call, he can hook you up with everything you'd need to make your banshee into a beast trail machine.

You dont need to go 4mm crank to make Good power. Our 350 Dune/Play port motors are some of the most fun bikes iv'e ever ridden. IF you need a crank then yes go with 4mm but if you dont just get a good port job ! : )

But it's a power addiction right... I may want more power after that and I also want to set myself up to be able to do it down the road.. So if I port for my stock cylinders right now can I still add the 4mil after and have the port work, work with it? Or if I port my cylinders for stock stroke, will i have to re-port for the 4 mil?

Yes you will need to report for 4mm if ported for 350 , and sometimes that doesnt work well depending on port heights. Like said IF you need/or have money for 4mm go for it but if not Our Play/Dune ports run very well as do others im sure.
