Popping/cracking and backfiring in both cylinders. It idles perfect but as soon as you try to give it fuel it falls on it's face. I'm assuming the firing, what do you guys think? I don't think so man, I thought it was the reeds but the power comes and goes randomly just off/on in split second occurances (like jumping if you know what i mean) How can I test those? I'm a noob at wiring Quote
lowbuckracing Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 Check all wires going to your coil, make sure they didn't come loose.May wanna see if your pick up for the flywheel has a loose screw.. Quote
Larry's Shee Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 Sounds like something is lose or intermittant fault (bad connection) or intermittant short (to ground). Quote

justinkk2005 Posted April 14, 2011 Author Report Posted April 14, 2011 Thanks for all the help guys i'll give you a verdict this evening. I was bogging down on a hill like I said and I know it was getting hot because of all the load on it so I took it out for a wide open throttle run and as soon as I did that it started running like this. Larry's Shee Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Have you rode it since the first time it started doing this? Sure it wasn't overheating or running lean? Quote
