I'm looking at getting an aftermarket axle locking nut. Any suggestions on what one to get, and what one works the best? I notice some say "3 piece" and some don't.

Rockymountain atv has a few different kinds like, G-Force, Modquad.......anyone have any experience with any of these, Or are they a waste and should I stick with the stock ones?

And after reading a little, most of these aftermarket lock nuts won't fit stock axles. I'm not having problems with my stock ones, but want something better and that looks nicer.

Thanks, -Zach

i used the modquad one. just pull off the old lock nut slide the new one over the axle and tighten it down and screw the allen heads down and your down. no problems with it whats so ever and i paid 34 bucks shipped for it new.

Yeah,I just bought a modquad one as well, to hopefully fit on the LSR axle that I have. I found a pair of locknuts in my box of parts that fit on it, so Im hoping to replace them with it.
