seabass Posted April 9, 2011 Report Posted April 9, 2011 I have a gusset kit from Tarantula Racing. The upper rear chassis piece says (without airbox) under it in the instructions. I assume I don't use this piece if I'm running an airbox? It sounds like a dumb question but would like to be sure because it doesn't seem like it would be in the way with the airbox. All I have with me at my house is the frame and gussets so I can't check airbox clearance and I'm bringing it to the welder today. I would GREATLY appreciate it if anybody has any info on this. Thanks in advance. Quote
BigRed350x Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 I usually make my own gussets. I've never seen the kit you're using. Post up some pics and we'll see if we can help ya out. - Jared Quote
Judge1 Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 I have the kit on my biike. The piece you are talking about I moved farther to the back of the subframe. I run an air box with no lid and you could probably make it work by notching the air box. I just moved the gusset to behind the seat mount bracket just make sure it does not interfere with your grab bar mount holes! Quote
