Rauls17 Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 Hello am new to these furoms and a new banshee owner I got a 2001 banshee 4 mill ported v force 3 timing at 10 CPI small bore boost bottle just put the engine in the bike and went out for a spin I let the bike get warm and i went for a wot pass went thru all the gears and went I let off that I got back on the throttle it was acting like it was choked up or something and the a couple sec later it goes back to normal also I have the bike at idle an when I go to pull out it acts choked out I clucth it back in and hit the gas 2 or 3 times and it snaps out of it does it evry once in a while the bike is not tuned any advice please could it be the boost bottle am getting rid of it either way or could it be dirty carbs the carbs are stock I also got a set of 35 laying around thank you for reading this Quote

Does your motor pass a leakdown test? Have you cleaned the carbs? Checked electrical connections? What are all of the mods done to the engine? What elevation are you riding at? What are your current jets? If the engine has not been tuned and jetted correctly, then it would be pretty obvious that you do this first before trying to diagnose any other problems. Quote
