We need to know more about your bike......mods, jetting, altitude...etc. First thing I would make sure is your carb sync is spot on. i bought the banshee in summer and it ran fine and now it backfires and bougs down and gas leaks out of the carb over flow tube possibly float stuck or is the tors messing it up hears the mods, fmf pipes, and k&n airfilter pretty much stock. dont know what jets it has. WINDYCITYJOHN400 Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 Usually when you hear backfires, you should first look at the flywheel to make sure it hasn't come loose and moved. But with all the talk about fuel leaking, Im guessing your flooding a cylinder and it's firing off at the wrong time. Sounds carb related. Check your reeds for breaks too, could be force pushing backwards through the carbs leading to some issues. Quote
