Welcome to BHQ !! Got most of the info right, need elevation and your jetting now will help. What do your plugs look like? Have you tried new plugs? Has this problem just started, just got machine? Have you cleaned carbs , air filter. Fresh gas or is it from last fall? Which FMF pipes?

has the FMF fattys

has a 145 main jet in it

brand new air filter

using the mc1 gas and brand new

running ngkb7s

plugs arent white they look new but wet

carbs are cleaned

elevation between 100-1510 mostley gonna be at 1510 since we ride upstate new york most of the time

had the problem last year n i figured with the bogging it was not enough fuel so i went from the 140 main to the 145 and no change, i have no idea where the needle should be on these cabs or what the pilot size should be or where the air fuel mixture screws should be

put in b8es plugs unscrew the caps off the wires adn see if the end of the wire is rusted that can cause a big end break up if it is rusty and you have the room cut it back a lil and screw the caps back on also when they are off check the ohms with a meter adn if they are over 5k its to dang much, remove the stator cover on the left side adn set the gap with a business card against the flywheel pick up, remove the air box and make sure when you open the throttle they are opening all the way up ( not usually an issue witht he smaller ones) then play with the jetting

usually 38-42 slow jet ( more often 40's range) screw 1.5 turns to start needle in middle position and main from a 145-165 ish. nobody can say this is the jetting you need you have to TUNE it

Thanks n most recently it jus bogged all way n stalled out in first. Had to choke it to move it but after it cooled down it was good for bout 10min n then started bogging in the high gears then all way down. Was thinking getting stock carbs n getting toomeys and jetting for that from their site any input??
